margaretmsQuoteAugust 8, 2014 at 1:34 pm #3766Hi Margaret,
First try to disable all plugins you’re using and empty the cache and refresh the site.
After that, please update BigBangWP to the latest version and see if these issues are still there.

Brankic1979QuoteAugust 9, 2014 at 9:26 am #3770Hi,
I followed your instructions and it made zero difference apart from giving me new issues to solve with plugins now not working. In addition your theme install instructions are unhelpful for the following reasons
1) The instructions say you can delete the theme and then re-install, after figuring out how to delete the theme I did that but still ran in to the missing CSS error.
2) When you download the theme you have to unpack it once to get access to the theme zip, then this has to be unzipped further – this is all unclear and vague in the instructions. Please advise on the original issues reported, btw these issues have all been seen on devices and platforms not used before therefore have absoloutley nothing to do with memory and cache.
Thanks in advance,
Margaret
margaretmsQuoteAugust 20, 2014 at 1:42 am #3837I am also having trouble since the upgrade to 3.9.2. My homepage uses the circle portfolio, 2 rows with 4 across. After the WP upgrade, the hover disappeared, the thumbnails were no longer hotlinked, the thumbnails all appeared as squares instead of circles, and the website was not displaying on iPhones.
http://jessicaclark.comAs instructed, I disabled plugins and updated BigBang to the latest version. But now the portfolio thumbnails aren’t showing up at all.
Please advise.
dasmonkQuoteAugust 20, 2014 at 2:04 am #3838btw, my whole backend/dashboard is screwy now too. I can’t see any of the text on my pages or portfolio items.
dasmonkQuoteAugust 20, 2014 at 3:08 pm #3841I see that BigBang was just now updated to 9.9.1 (from 9.9). I uploaded the new version but am still having problems:
Portfolio items should be circles (showing as squares); hover and links are not functional:
http://jessicaclark.com/Menu doesn’t show up on iPhone (and likely other phones)
Backend not working — I’m unable to edit pages. All text on portfolio items and pages appears white/invisible when accessed via the dashboard.
I have another site with BigBang that doesn’t have a portfolio (and therefore doesn’t have the portfolio problem) but is otherwise having the same problems with the backend and the responsive menu.

dasmonkQuoteAugust 21, 2014 at 1:31 am #3850I realized after posting the above that the backend problem was fixable with a plugin, Raptor.
But the problems with the circle portfolio and responsive menu remain.
dasmonkQuoteAugust 21, 2014 at 5:56 am #3858Update is submitted.
Before getting latest version from Themeforest, you can replace the content of javascript/custom.js and javascript/bra_photostream.js

Brankic1979QuoteAugust 21, 2014 at 2:15 pm #3882I just updated to theme 1.9.9.2 but it is not fixing problems with the portfolio not working (Should be circles – not squares, no hover or linking, submenu not working):

dasmonkQuoteAugust 21, 2014 at 2:55 pm #3885August 21, 2014 at 3:26 pm #3887I uploaded again and when I go to Themes, I see that my active theme is 1.9.9.2. But the problems persist.

dasmonkQuoteAugust 22, 2014 at 7:05 pm #3905Hi,
Something weird happens. When I try to see any javascript file (from source) I get error message (about read/write permission).
Did you updated the theme via FTP or through WP Dashboard?
Brankic1979QuoteAugust 22, 2014 at 7:17 pm #3906August 22, 2014 at 7:24 pm #3907I just checked my webhost and they are in the middle of some server maintenance.
Maybe that’s why you can’t see? Otherwise, if you think it could be a security issue let me know if there’s something you’d like me to look at on my end. From my host:
“The server that hosts your account is experiencing problems at this moment. We kindly ask you not to submit tickets regarding the status of your website until we fix it. You can read more about your server status here.

dasmonkQuoteAugust 23, 2014 at 10:29 am #3913This sounds like a temp problem.
The strange thing is that theme on your server is not using any JavaScript (I can’t see any JavaScript effect), so I can only guess it’s due server problems.
